Question for you.... You used a Canon 450D which I believe is the digital rebel - does that mean that this is actually a 960MM focal length?
[300MM Lens * 1.6 Canon 450D] = 480MM
[480MM * Extender 2x] = 960MM

You are right Dan. Plus if you consider slight cropping it is actually 1000mm :)
