Last two years my friend Dr. Vaibhav Deshmukh and Pravin Kawale are documenting activities of this wonderful bird. My job is to assist them in producing photographic evidence. Believe me it is pretty tough job because of small size and secretive nature of this bird. Its been two weeks since we first saw him this season. Nearly every day before dawn we are hiking to Siddheshwar hill. But I didn’t get a single shot. He is simply quicker then me and my equipments!
Monsoon is here and it is too difficult to get there and take photo after it starts pouring in full force. Today I got these shots, not because I am quicker but he was a bit slower! I request birding community to take these record shots, till I come up with something better.
Location : Siddheshwar, near Alibag, Dist. Raigad, Maharashtra.
